Exotic pattern.

This one was done just for the hell of a fun. I was pretty excited with my latest designs (snuggling parrots, the macaws) so I was giving my imagination a go. It went out so good that this design became my favourite theme.

Snuggling parrots.

Another bookmarks with birds - parrots. They're so cute, snuggling each other in the rays of a sunset. I did  three coloristic versions.

Red ara macaw.

The inspiration for doing ara bookmarks - was the royal charm of those animals. I love also vivid colours, they'd make reading a lot more fun and enthusiastic.

Blue ara macaw.

Macaws are wonderful creatures. Their colorful feathers are one of a kind. I did also a bookmark with red ara macaw, it will be posted as the next one.

Painting Maggie.

This is how it's done - step by step. Every bookmark was done in a slightly different way, it usually depends on the colours and the effects I want to achieve.

Bookmarks with flowers.

These are bookmarks perfect for girls or women because of their floral patterns. I think these colours suit them really well.

Bright urban bookmarks.

Another set made for city series of my bookmarks. I created also matching keychains. This time I used brighter colours.

Yellow floral pads and a napkin holder.

Another set for tea time: pads and a napkin holder with floral decoration. This one was made for a special gift. Painting these flowers did not take me much time, I was quite surprised byt that.

Sunrise over Miami beach.

I wish I could visit Florida one day - just to walk on those sandy beauty spots, under the palm trees' shadows .

City lights.

I appreciate photos containing lights, urban themes... What's why I created this bookmark, showing the glowing, vibrant colours of city streets.

Urban life.

Juicy yellow urban bookmark. Sunset over the rooftops. Birds sitting on wires, calmly waiting on night to come.

Deep snooze.

Feel the vibrant night colours! Dark tones of blue and green match perfectly. It makes sleeping city kinda... electric.

Sunset vibes.

This fuchsia pink/red acrylic paint is amazing. Such a rich and deep shade! Just look how it looks like on this urban bookmark.

Orchid tea pads + napkin holder.

So I said earlier, I love orchids. Here is a little bigger piece of my art - a napkin holder and tea pads - functional all the way.

Tucano, oh, tucano!

I adore birds, of all kind. When I was little, I was sneaking up on those amazing creatures. I loved to observe them. My family even bought me a guide book on bird species. I remember that I even memorized every single name of a bird that was mentioned in that book.

Tucanos are so beautiful.

Exotic beauty.

I love orchids. They're pure beauty. So delicate, so exotic, so colorful. They're not so simple to be drawn!

Tea time bookmark.

My first bookmarks were plain and simple, just like this particular one - Tea Time bookmark. I had Beauty and the Beast in my mind. I like how the colours: white, orange and mint green co-operate with each other.

Just having fun!

When I discovered that painting on wood may be a great fun and a great challenge at the same time - I really got into it. It's like being a child again - doing what you love and what you're good at.

So here is the Simpsons family. Oh, I loved watching those series! I adore rebellious nature of Bart!

Welcome to my blog!

Some time ago, when I was constantly running out of time - with no place for a hobby in my life - I decided that I had to do something, or I would go nuts. Then I started browsing about handmade artwork and visited online art shops. This is how I came into the idea of painting on wood. Now I create colorful bookmarks and things like that.

This is how I do it.

Welcome to my art blog. I had posted here before yet I had to re-arrange things and now I want to start all over again. Art has been in my life since I was a kid, I loved to draw and paint. I could spent hours and hours sitting somewhere hidden at home and creating things on paper.

As time was passing by, I tried to draw more complicated drawings. I started my adventure with oil and acrylic paints. As I do not have much time now as and adult, I create small pieces of art, like bookmarks, napkin holders, tea pads. Sometimes I do paint on canvas.

I hope you'll like what you'll see on my blog. If you have some comments, please leave them below the posts.
